Lab 3: DNA

 

For this lab we will use an example from a recent book, The Making of the Fittest: DNA and the Ultimate Forensic Record of Evolution by Sean B. Carroll. The example involves the evolution of primates and the use of genetic markers in reconstructing phylogenies (evolutionary histories, or "family trees"). The photos below show views of the primates involved.
